Prior to becoming Sales Guy Bob, I was known as Coast Guard Bob. I followed my Marine father and WWII Navy veteran grandfather into military service. I was involved in everything from fisheries patrols in the Bering Sea, to picking up debris from Space Shuttle Challenger, and even having a heavy hand in putting Pablo Escobar and the Medellin Drug Cartel out of business.
In 2014, I found my true passion in recruiting and SalesGuyBob was born. I was a traditional contingency recruiter and worked the “system” just like everyone else submitting candidates and working for a huge commission paycheck. After a few years of working in the trenches, I figured out just how broken the hiring process is and wanted to change things. Enter 6 Second Hire and where we are today.
Personally, I am married to the most amazing woman in the world who is also my business partner, editor, and accountant. Together we have five children ranging in ages from 4 to 20 and live in the beautiful state of Colorado.
